Winchester Cathedral and closing ceremony

One of our Mr Pipes travelers and I stood and watched the closing ceremony of the London 1012 Olympics on a giant screen with the cathedral lit up in all her splendor. Meanwhile the rest of our gang had to evacuate the hotel for a fire alarm. We missed it altogether. It would have been my third this summer!
