London--Day 1

Greetings from London, whose weather is trying to make CHS feel right at home. Thank you for that, I think. 

We have two big firsts on this tour. It is our tenth CHS UK tour. And we have the unique conjunction of having our first repeat traveler; Ethan Rowen tells me he feels like he's getting just lots more out of the trip this second go. St. Paul's Cathdral stood out much mor vividly to him than it did on the 1996 tour--and the medieval splendor of the Tower of London? Well, there's just no comparison to his vague and infantile experience then with how real and immediate things were then as with today, no comparison!
