AUDIO BOOK prototypes of my books by pro voice actor

A while back I received an email from a reader who also happens to be a professional voice actor. He asked if my publisher and I had any plans to do audio versions of my books. I frequently have readers ask this and always forward the requests to my publisher. Contractually I am obligated to work with them on audio books, but the more inquiries they field the more likely they might be to consider publishing audio books of THE BETRAYAL, CROWN & COVENANT TRILOGY, and others.

  1. We would LOVE to be able to buy your books on audio. We are avid readers AND listeners of both fictional and non-fictional books. We would be pleased to add Douglas Bond books to our collection of Lamplighter Publishing, G.A. Henty, Jonathan Park, and Elsie Dinsmore audio books.

  2. *Squeal*! LOVE the idea! :D I am a big fan of audio books! I just completed reading my first read of your books last week (Duncan's War) and was so thrilled with the writing style and godly lessons that I am continuing in the series and can't wait to read more of your works! (The betrayal is also awaiting on my bookshelf).

These audio's sounds excellent! :D Especially "The Betrayal" sounded very well done. However, just my opinion and for a hint/reference...I did not much like the tone of voice used for Duncan on the audio for Duncan's War. :( It was very high pitched, for supposing to be a boy, and a little bit harder to understand combined with the Scottish brogue. But both of these sound wonderful on the whole and I pray that you will pursue this new venture! :D I know our family would greatly enjoy them!

    God bless!
